It was really shocking to learn that while common man pays service tax even for his land line telephone connection BCCI which earns in billions and whose each member leads a princely life is exempt from income tax. Similarly state governments must answer why IPL tickets are exempt from entertainment tax while poor man’s entertainment- theatre movies continue to draw hefty entertainment tax. Needless to say IPL matches are genrally watched on the stadium generally by the elite class only.
